How to remove hidden data from photos

  1. Select one or more JPG, PNG, WEBP or HEIC photos.

  2. Read the report: location, camera, names, dates and hidden previews, and the faces and private text on the photo.

  3. Click Remove hidden data, then download your clean photos.

What your photos say about you

Phones and cameras write much more into a photo than the picture. EXIF data can hold the exact GPS location where it was taken (often your home), the date and time, the camera and its serial number, and your name. Editing apps add their own history, and many files keep a small hidden preview that can still show what you cropped out.

Photo privacy check shows all of it, with the location on a map, then removes it. JPG, PNG and WEBP files are cleaned without being re-compressed, so the picture stays exactly the same. You can also blur faces, and black out e-mail addresses and phone and card numbers it finds in the picture. Everything happens on your device.
