How to blur faces in a photo

  1. Select or drop up to 10 JPG or PNG photos.

  2. Check the faces found, and add blur areas over anything else private.

  3. Pick Pixelate or Smooth blur, click Blur faces and download.

Blur faces and private details automatically

Blur face finds the faces in a photo automatically and covers them with a blur, so you can share pictures of crowds, events, classrooms or streets without showing who is in them. Set detection to Low, Recommended or High to find fewer or more faces. Add your own blur areas by dragging a box over a number plate, a name badge, a screen or any other private detail.

Choose Pixelate for a blocky mosaic or Smooth blur for a soft finish. You can move, resize or delete any face box before saving. Face detection runs in your browser with a small model that downloads from this site, so the photos you blur are never uploaded, which matters when the whole point is privacy. You can blur up to 10 photos or 100 MB at a time.
