How to resize an image

  1. Select or drop up to 30 JPG, PNG, SVG or GIF images.

  2. Type a width or height in pixels, or pick a percentage to shrink by.

  3. Click Resize, then download your resized images one by one or as a ZIP.

Resize images by pixels or by percentage

Resize image changes the width and height of JPG, PNG, SVG and GIF files in bulk. Set a maximum size so every image fits inside the box you type, or an exact size for a fixed width and height. Keep Maintain aspect ratio on to avoid stretching, and tick Do not enlarge if smaller to leave small images alone. Or switch to percentage and make every image 25, 50 or 75 percent smaller.

Each format is handled its own way. SVG files stay vector, with the new width and height written into the file. Animated GIFs are resized frame by frame and keep playing. JPG and PNG images are resized smoothly and saved again in their own format, and PNG keeps its transparency. All the work happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded, and you can resize up to 30 images or 200 MB at a time.
