How to remove an object from a photo

  1. Select a JPG, PNG, WEBP or HEIC photo.

  2. Paint over the person, text or thing you want to remove. When you let go, it disappears.

  3. Click Save image, then download your photo.

Erase anything from a photo with AI

Remove object fills in whatever you paint over with what would be behind it: tourists in a holiday photo, a bin, power lines, a date stamp, a spot on the skin. The AI model, MI-GAN, looks at the surroundings and paints new pixels that match them, in a second or two.

Only the part you paint changes; the rest of the photo keeps every pixel. Erase as many things as you like, one stroke at a time, undo any of them, and hold Compare to see the original. The model runs on your device, so your photo is never uploaded.
