How to upscale an image

  1. Select or drop a JPG or PNG image up to 6 MB.

  2. Choose 2x or 4x and check the new size in pixels.

  3. Click Upscale, compare before and after, then download your image.

Upscale images with AI, right in your browser

Upscale image makes small JPG and PNG pictures 2 or 4 times bigger. Instead of simply stretching pixels, an AI model trained to restore images redraws edges and fine detail, so the enlarged image looks crisp rather than blurry. It suits old photos, small product shots and thumbnails you need at a larger size. You see the new size in pixels before you start, and you can compare before and after.

The AI runs on your own device with WebAssembly. The model downloads to your browser once, then your image is processed in small tiles so memory stays under control, even on a phone. Your image is never uploaded. You can upscale one image of up to 6 MB at a time, and the result can be as large as 32 megapixels. The upscaled image keeps its JPG or PNG format.
