RAW files hold the full sensor data from a camera, but they are large and need special software to open. This page converts CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF and ORF files to JPG in your browser. It uses the JPG preview that most cameras store inside the RAW file, so you get the picture as the camera showed it, ready to share. Conversion depends on that preview, so a file without a usable one can't be converted.
